Since the invention of stainless steel in the beginning of this century, stainless steel attracts many company in different fields. But there is no doubt that stainless steel enjoys great popularity in construction field. With the advantages of corrosion resistance, pitting resistance, corrosion resistance and wear resistance, Stainless steel perfectly meets the needs of architects and structural designers.
For the installation of steel tube, it is similar to the installation of carbon steel pipe. However, it has more strict demanding while installing the stainless steel tube.
1. While stainless steel is lifting, it can not be contact with other metals directly. Wood or rubber plates and other non-metallic materials should be padded before touching other metal.
2.Ordinary grinding wheel cutting is not allowed for tube cutting. You’d better use stainless steel grinding wheel or plasma cutting.
3.Arc starting use re-welding method while the arc should be filled before closing. Arc must be completed within the groove. If there are holes, cracks and other defects around arc, you should clean them promptly.
4.Pay attention to the joint of Stainless steel tubes, tube fittings, stainless steel tubes, pipe fittings, non-stainless steel pipe, pipe fittings. TIG welding should be conducted after filling argon gas in tubes.
5.Multi-channel multi-layer arc welding and arc starting and should be staggered with arc closing.
6.The interlayer temperature does not exceed 60 ℃ when welding stainless steel continuously.
7.After welding, the welding joints should conduct the process of pickling and passivation.
8.Hydraulic test of Stainless steel pipe has certain requirements for water temperature and water quality. The water temperature shall not be less than 5 degrees Celsius; chloride ion content in water should be greater than 25Pmm.
